There, right there! The deep breath to keep herself from crying..
spoiler alert: Quinn wanted her to say that she was singing it to her
And then there was fandom-wide heart failure.
This makes no sense to me. Like, this isn’t even Dianna subtly doing her own thing in a scene. This is very clearly conflicted and upset, and it pisses me off because we aren’t given any context for it and yet they let her (told her to?) act out the scene this way.
I’d rather never have Faberry than have it presented like this where the only conclusion I can make is that Quinn is in love with Rachel, because I know the show won’t go there and this is just FRUSTRATING BEYOND BELIEF.
I cannot textually render how maddening this is, as a fan of Rachel and Quinn and a hardcore shipper. So I will just reblog this, continue to spew forth caps of emotion on twitter, and bang my head into my desk for another 7 weeks because I literally CANNOT with this show.
I am telling you they cut this scene to tiny tiny pieces. I don’t EVEN KNOW what must have actually happened. MAKES NO SENSE.
IT. MAKES. NO. SENSE.
The scene is so weird, mostly because whenever the other character is talking more than Rachel, something is amiss. Rachel barely says anything, and when I watched it for the first time, in between going WTF IS HAPPENING, I was wondering why isn’t Rachel saying anything?! All we barely get is reaction shots from her.
It’s just weird, makes no sense and I’d really like to see a script.
In conclusion. ARGH.
So what you’re saying is they cut all of Rachel’s lines, reduced it to Rachel reaction shots, then kept in all of Quinn’s deep breath gasp BIG EYES teary watery-ness.
AAAAAAAAND HUG.
thanks, fucks.

This scene (and many other, who am I kidding here) makes me believe that Faberry is real but the writers have no idea...
